Andrean Boys Basketball Roll Past Kankakee Valley

Andrean High School secured a decisive 87–50 victory over Kankakee Valley in a home conference game on December 19. The match took place at Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana.

According to the game’s report, Andrean established an early lead with a 22–9 advantage after the first quarter and maintained control throughout. By halftime, the Fighting 59ers were ahead 37–26. They further extended their lead in the third quarter by outscoring Kankakee Valley 26–6, bringing the score to 63–32. In the final quarter, Andrean added another 24 points while limiting Kankakee Valley’s offensive efforts. The team consistently posted double-digit scores each quarter and held their opponents to single digits in two periods through effective ball movement and defensive pressure.

Andrean is scheduled to play again on January 9 against Hanover Central in a conference game starting at 7 p.m. The last encounter between these teams was on January 28, when Andrean emerged victorious with an 85–61 win over Hanover Central.
