Andrean boys basketball defeated Hanover Central 70–54 in a conference road victory.

The game was played Jan. 9 at Hanover Central High School in Cedar Lake, Indiana.

The Fighting 59ers were led by their senior core, with Gregory Taylor running the offense at point guard and Tiaan Coetzee providing scoring and length on the wing. Andrean controlled the tempo throughout the night, using balanced scoring and steady defensive pressure to build a double-digit lead and maintain it through the second half. The 59ers limited Hanover Central’s transition opportunities and forced the Wildcats into contested half-court possessions, allowing Andrean to pull away down the stretch.

Andrean continued to execute on both ends in the fourth quarter, converting key possessions and protecting the ball to close out the 16-point conference win.

Up next, Andrean will travel to face Highland at 7 p.m. on Jan. 24 in a road conference matchup.

The two teams last met Dec. 28, when Andrean defeated Highland 55–48 at home.
