The Andrean Fighting 59ers secured a decisive 19–3 victory over Lowell in a conference matchup on Friday night. The game, characterized by disciplined defense and timely offensive plays, took place at Lowell High School on October 17. The cold temperatures and dry field conditions contributed to a classic fall football atmosphere for the Northwest Crossroads Conference action.
According to the game’s progression, after a scoreless first quarter, Andrean gained momentum in the second quarter. Quarterback Brady Elish connected with Tyler Vo for a 20-yard touchdown pass. Running back Ethan Reyna added to the lead with a 10-yard rushing touchdown before halftime, extending the score to 12–3. The Andrean defense, led by Rocco Allegretti’s fumble recovery and strong line play, prevented Lowell from staging a comeback.
Vo further secured the win with his second touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. Jax Alvarez successfully converted all extra points, concluding the game with a 19–3 scoreline.
With this victory, Andrean builds momentum as they head into the postseason. Their next opponent is yet to be determined for their game on October 31.
