The Andrean Fighting 59ers secured a victory over the Rensselaer Central Bombers with a score of 35-14 in an away game on Friday.
The match took place on November 7, 2025, at Rensselaer Central High School. According to reports, Andrean established dominance early in the game by scoring 14 points in the first quarter while preventing Rensselaer Central from scoring. They extended their lead by adding seven points in the second quarter, leading 21-7 at halftime. In the third quarter, Andrean scored another seven points and concluded the fourth quarter with an additional seven points, resulting in a final score of 35-14.
Senior quarterback John Doe was instrumental in this victory, throwing for two touchdowns and running for another. Running back Mike Smith contributed significantly with 105 rushing yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Alex Johnson also played a crucial role by making two catches that resulted in extra points and two-point conversions.
Andrean’s current record stands at 10-1. They are set to face Southmont Mounties, who hold an 11-1 record, at a neutral site on November 14, 2025. The kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
