Andrean suffered a narrow 33–30 loss to Hammond Bishop Noll in a varsity girls basketball matchup.

The game took place Jan. 6, 2026, at Hammond Bishop Noll High School.

Andrean remained competitive throughout the contest, keeping the score within reach as both teams relied on defense and half-court execution. The Fighting 59ers limited scoring opportunities and forced multiple stops but struggled to convert consistently on the offensive end as the game tightened late. Bishop Noll was able to do just enough in the closing minutes to maintain its slim advantage.

Statistically, Andrean was led by Delaney Myers, who entered the game averaging a team-best 9.8 points per game while also pacing the team on the glass at 7.4 rebounds per contest. Ellie Benjamin served as a key playmaker and defensive presence, leading Andrean in assists at 2.3 per game and steals at 2.9 per game. Charlee Murray contributed defensively in the post, averaging 0.3 blocks per game and helping anchor the interior.

Andrean will return to action Jan. 17 when it hosts Valparaiso in a scheduled 6:30 p.m. tipoff.

The last meeting between Andrean and Valparaiso came Jan. 18, when Valparaiso secured a 48–19 win at home.
