In varsity girls’ basketball, the Andrean Lady Fighting 59ers were recently defeated by Hammond Morton Governors with a score of 43–53.
According to the game summary, the Fighting 59ers followed their recent victory over Merrillville with this loss to Hammond Morton on November 8. Andrean is continuing its early-season non-conference schedule with both road and home games, including trips to Portage and hosting Marquette Catholic. Additional challenges in the early season include matchups against Crown Point and Munster.
Conference play for Andrean begins in December, where they will face familiar rivals such as Highland, Hobart, and Hanover Central. January will bring further Northwest Crossroads Conference matchups against Lowell and Kankakee Valley.
