The Andrean Fighting 59ers secured a victory over the Hobart Brickies with a score of 45–32 in Saturday’s conference girls basketball game.
The game was held on December 6, 2025, at Andrean in Merrillville, Indiana. According to reports, Andrean established control early and maintained a steady lead throughout the match. This was attributed to a strong defensive effort that limited Hobart to just 32 points. Senior guard Delaney Myers led the offensive charge for Andrean with 14 points. On the Hobart side, Chesnie Unland and Taryn Babcock each contributed 7 points. However, the persistent defense and balanced scoring from Andrean thwarted any comeback attempts by the Brickies.
Looking ahead, the Andrean Fighting 59ers are scheduled to travel to face the Lake Central Indians on December 10, 2025.
In their previous encounter on December 21, 2024, Andrean also emerged victorious against Hobart with a score of 54–30.
