Andrean earned a 39–26 road conference win over Hanover Central to improve its league record.
The game was played on Dec. 18 at Hanover Central High School in Cedar Lake, Indiana.
Andrean controlled the tempo throughout the contest, holding Hanover Central to 26 points and limiting scoring opportunities across all four quarters. Led by head coach Tony Scheub, the Fighting 59ers relied on defensive discipline and patient half-court offense to build separation, forcing contested shots and slowing the Wildcats’ transition game.
Delaney Myers, who entered the matchup averaging 9.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, continued to anchor Andrean’s production on both ends of the floor. Ellie Benjamin, averaging 2.3 assists and 2.9 steals per game, provided steady ball distribution and defensive pressure in the backcourt, while Charlee Murray added interior presence, contributing to Andrean’s ability to protect the paint and limit second-chance opportunities.
Andrean will return to action on Jan. 10 when it hosts Lowell for a 2:30 p.m. conference matchup.
The two teams last met on Jan. 11 at Lowell, where Andrean earned a 49–32 victory
