The Andrean Fighting 59ers secured a 45–32 victory over Hobart in a conference matchup held on December 6 at Andrean High School.
According to the team, Andrean received a balanced effort across the roster. Delaney Myers, the team’s leading scorer entering the matchup, continued her steady production. Lailoni Staten, who leads the 59ers in rebounds and steals per game, contributed on both ends with key defensive plays that helped hold Hobart below its scoring average. Ellie Benjamin, Andrean’s assist leader, played a crucial role in initiating the offense and guiding the 59ers during late-game possessions to secure the win.
Looking ahead, Andrean is set to travel to Hanover Central for their next game on December 18 at 7 p.m. The last encounter between these two teams took place on December 18 of last season when Andrean hosted Hanover Central and emerged victorious with a score of 47–39.
