The Andrean Fighting 59ers enter the 2025 football season looking to build on a strong 2024 campaign while navigating a challenging Northwest Crossroads Conference slate.
Led by head coach Chris Skinner, the 59ers finished last season 9-5 overall and 5-1 in league play, tying for first place. Andrean averaged 22.2 points per game while holding opponents to 13.3, posting an average scoring margin of plus-8.9.
Despite their success, the team’s 2025 starting power rating has dropped to 8.6, down from a final 2024 rating of 13.2. That ranks Andrean No. 60 in Indiana and No. 2,222 nationally, marking a 17.8-point gap from their dynasty average of 26.4 accumulated between 2003 and 2024.
The program’s historical pedigree remains strong, with a dynasty record of 208-73, including 98-32 in league play. Andrean’s playoff division is 2A, where they enter ranked No. 3.
The 59ers face a regular-season schedule rated at minus-10.6 in difficulty, a significant change from last year’s 6.6 rating. While details on returning starters remain unavailable, the program’s tradition and conference success keep expectations high as they prepare to defend their league title and push for another deep postseason run.
