Andrean secured its fourth state championship with a 7-0 win over Brownstown Central in the Class 2A title game, breaking a scoreless battle late to finish the season 13-1.
The state final was played on Nov. 29 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The winning score came with 4:56 remaining when Brady Stovall powered in from the 2-yard line to break the deadlock. Andrean’s defense delivered one of its best performances of the year, holding a Brownstown Central offense that entered averaging 54.9 points per game without a point. Linebackers Javier McCoy and Ethan Reyna each posted 10 tackles as the 59ers earned the shutout. Quarterback Brady Elish led all rushers with 120 yards on 21 carries, helping Andrean control field position through a defensive struggle that featured multiple stops inside the red zone.
Brownstown Central also held strong defensively, including a critical goal-line stand early in the fourth quarter and a late drive into Andrean territory that ended on downs at the 17-yard line with 2:11 to play.
Andrean concludes its 2025 season as state champions. Brownstown Central finishes as state runner-up.
