Throughout the spring, Andrean showcased its balanced approach, combining timely hitting, strong defense, and reliable pitching. That formula helped the 59ers navigate a challenging schedule and earn their place in the postseason.
The Andrean Fighting 59ers capped off a memorable softball season with a strong postseason run. On June 2, the team rolled past Jimtown with a 9–1 regional victory to secure a spot in the Semi‑State. Four days later, Andrean kept its momentum alive by defeating Alexandria‑Monroe 8–5 in the semi‑state opener.
The season came to a close in the semi‑state championship, where the 59ers battled Western Boone in a tight contest before falling 8–6. Despite the loss, Andrean’s playoff push showcased the team’s resilience and talent, marking another successful campaign for the program.
Adding to the team’s accomplishments, several players earned conference honors. Senior shortstop Aubrey Grasha received an All‑Conference Honorable Mention after hitting .400 in NCC play with a .520 on‑base percentage, three homers, and 12 RBIs. Senior pitcher Sadie Drousias was named Second Team All‑Conference, collecting three conference wins with a 2.65 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 39 innings. Sophomore standout Ashlyn Hite earned First Team recognition, hitting .513 with six homers, four doubles, and 25 RBIs. Senior Maddy McCoy also landed on the First Team, batting .475 with a .543 OBP, 18 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases.
These achievements highlight the depth and strength of Andrean’s roster in 2026.
