The Andrean Fighting 59ers girls’ varsity volleyball team holds a overall record of 6-9 and currently holds second place in the Northwest Crossroads Conference with a 4-1 record in conference play.
Outside hitter Laloni Staten leads the team with an average of 1.9 kills per set. Fellow teammate Miah Galambos, averages 1.7 kills per set, and Aleece Ehler averages 1.6 kills per set. At the net, middle hitter Lizzie Cusick boasts the highest hitting percentage at .393, with Kaylee Bradley close behind at .386 and Ehler at .212.
Bradley leads in blocking with a total of 17 blocks. Maya Mastalski contributes with 15 blocks, while Cusick adds seven more to the team’s tally. In terms of defense, Dani Poskin excels in the backcourt with an average of 5.5 digs per set and a total of 215 digs overall. Ehler follows with an average of 2.9 digs per set and a total of 100 digs, while Staten has accumulated 77 digs.
Serving is one of the team’s strengths, as Cusick and Galambos each have recorded 17 aces, and Ehler has contributed 16 serving aces. All three players share the top mark for aces per set at an average of 0.5.
