Boys Cross Country Poised to Chase Excellence in 2025 Season

0Comments

The Andrean High School boys cross country team heads into the 2025 season primed to push their limits and build on recent postseason appearances. Competing under the Northwest Crossroads banner, the Fighting 59ers will aim to sharpen their endurance at sectional and regional meets while eyeing a return to the state finals.

Coach and runners will rely on experience gained in the 2024 campaign, when the team participated in the IHSAA Sectional 2 and advanced to Regional 1 before reaching the State Final in track and field—a strong indicator of cross country potential

While few names are listed on recent public rosters, sophomore Colin Coughlin and senior Alexander Kreis are noted among returning competitors who will be counted on to lead the pack

With meets already scheduled on Athletic.net and other platforms, the season will unfold across early fall’s classic invitations and conference championship races.

The 59ers will sprint, climb, and chase times that reflect discipline, grit, and the drive to ascend the ranks. Their goal: to leave every finish line knowing they ran their best and carry momentum toward the postseason.
