Andrean girls basketball dropped a 54–37 road decision to the Chesterton Trojans.
The game was played Jan. 30 at Chesterton High School, where the Trojans used a strong second-half surge to pull away after a competitive opening stretch.
Chesterton created separation after halftime with steady offensive execution and consistent defensive pressure, limiting Andrean’s scoring opportunities over the final two quarters. Andrean stayed within reach early and continued to compete through the middle of the game before the margin widened late.
Delaney Myers battled throughout the contest and provided leadership for the Fighting 59ers, who relied on a young lineup against a veteran Chesterton group. Andrean worked to generate offense in transition and through half-court sets but faced challenges finishing possessions as Chesterton controlled the tempo.
Several underclassmen logged extended minutes for Andrean in a challenging road environment, gaining valuable experience against a quality opponent. The game served as another test as the Fighting 59ers continue to develop consistency and depth.
