The Andrean High School girls cross country team enters the 2025 season riding momentum from a notable 2024 performance. The Fighting 59ers placed 3rd at the Northwest Crossroads Conference championships and saw two runners finish among the top 30 at the IHSAA Regional 1 meet.
Their demanding 2025 lineup includes local invitationals, conference showdowns, and postseason qualifiers. Preseason workouts have honed endurance, speed, and tactical racing—preparing athletes for the region’s rolling courses and unpredictable conditions.
Upperclassmen, including standout Karolyn Kreis (sophomore in ’24), anchor the roster’s core, offering leadership to newcomers like Isabella Domoras and Jaci Dumas. The coach emphasizes collaborative pack running, urging teammates to push each other toward personal bests and stronger team placements.
With an objective to improve their sectional standing and return to the regional final, consistency in performance will be critical. The 2025 campaign presents an opportunity for the Fighting 59ers to advance as a cohesive unit and chase new benchmarks.
Fueled by discipline, camaraderie, and grit, the Andrean girls cross country team is ready to chase progress—and pride—every step of the way.
