Andrean broke open a close game with a pair of late rallies Tuesday, powering past Munster 11–2 in a road baseball victory.
The contest was played on May 12, 2026, at Munster High School, where the Fighting 59ers turned a tense early battle into a runaway win.
For four innings, Munster’s pitching kept Andrean off the scoreboard, but the 59ers’ lineup erupted in the fifth. John Henry Lubash sparked the breakthrough with an RBI single, Luke Goben followed with a two‑run single, and Aidan Gnatt delivered the biggest swing of the inning with a three‑run single. That six‑run outburst flipped the momentum completely in Andrean’s favor.
The visitors weren’t finished. In the seventh, Andrean piled on five more runs with six hits to put the game out of reach. Goben doubled in a run, Chase Nelson added a two‑run double, Jet Dutton drove in another with a double, and Miller Stalbaum capped the rally by drawing a bases‑loaded walk.
On the mound, Kaden Maxwell earned the win by allowing just one run on three hits across six innings, striking out five and walking one. Andrean finished with 12 hits overall, paced by two apiece from Gnatt, Dutton, Lubash, Paxton Lukac, and Goben, underscoring the depth of their offensive attack.
