Andrean’s boys track and field team delivered a competitive performance at the Hoosier State Relays Finals, with Greg Taylor helping pace the 59ers against a deep and experienced small-school field.
The meet took place March 28, 2026, at the Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis on a 200-meter banked track.
Taylor competed in the 60-meter dash preliminaries, posting a time of 7.26 seconds against a strong group of sprinters. He also contributed to Andrean’s 4×200-meter relay team alongside Greg Broden, Jayden Sanchez and Gavin Jones. The quartet recorded a time of 1:36.99, placing 19th overall in a race that featured several of the state’s top-performing relay units.
Andrean’s relay group competed in a fast section that included multiple scoring teams, with tight margins separating several finishes throughout the race. The meet featured strong depth across sprint and relay events, testing teams against high-level competition early in the season.
The performance provided Andrean with a solid benchmark as the team continues to develop its sprint group and build toward stronger finishes heading into the outdoor portion of the schedule.
