The conference matchup took place April 2 at Andrean High School, where the Fighting 59ers handled pressure moments and dictated the tempo from the opening set.
Andrean set the tone early with a decisive 25-12 win in the first set, using strong serving and clean execution to build separation. The second set proved more competitive, with Munster pushing back, but Andrean responded late to secure a 25-23 edge.
The third set saw Andrean regain full control, closing out the match with a dominant 25-7 finish to complete the sweep.
Offensively, Andrean produced a .310 hitting percentage, reflecting efficient and well-distributed play across the lineup. Carter Knueppel and Ethan Duong led with eight kills each, while Trevor Prisby added sixteen assists, five kills, five digs, and four aces.
Tyler Tate contributed four aces, helping Andrean maintain pressure from the service line and disrupt Munster’s rhythm throughout the match.
Defensively, Andrean totaled eight blocks, with Sam Coduti accounting for four, anchoring the front line and limiting scoring chances.
