Delaney Myers turned in an impactful sophomore season for the Andrean girls basketball team, elevating her role and production on the varsity level.
Myers competed for Andrean during the 2025-26 season in Merrillville, Indiana, appearing in 25 varsity games as a sophomore after playing 27 games as a freshman the year prior.
The 5-foot-7 wing averaged 8.5 points per game this season, a significant jump from her 2.8-point average as a freshman. She also contributed 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game, showing growth on both ends of the floor. Myers consistently impacted the glass, pulling down nearly three defensive rebounds and 2.7 offensive rebounds per contest while helping extend possessions on offense. Her activity defensively allowed Andrean to generate transition opportunities and maintain pressure throughout games.
Over her two varsity seasons, Myers has appeared in 52 games and averaged 5.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Her steady development and increased confidence were evident throughout the year as her minutes and responsibilities expanded within the rotation.
In addition to her basketball contributions, Myers also competes in volleyball for Andrean, balancing a year-round athletic schedule while continuing to refine her game heading into her junior season.
